Since 4.01, if I first attack a monster with Drain or Consume, I do the damage, but do NOT receive the hps for it
I think this could be a cool option, as a trade off for an AWESOME Natural stat somewhere else. A negative Str natural, and a HUGE positive Attack natural, for instance. You wouldn't do as much damage, but would guarantee a hit. And vice versa, hit REALLY hard, but miss more often. Maybe a +50 Natural HP, but a -50 Crafting to go with it. I think the healing abilities of things like Bread, Cookies, Chocolate Cakes, is outdated. They are only useful for a VERY short time, then become to weak to use. Could make them a % based heal instead of fixed amount. Chocolate Cakes heal 100% hps, Bread heals 10%, etc
Maybe make them clear off debuffs, that would be worth using sometimes!
Like the current coupons, except instead of crafting for free, it gives double XP! Could make them general double XP for anything and make them more rare, or make them more common, and for specific items, like "Craft a Mind Soul and get double XP".
Adding things like the Chocolate Cake, Bread, Cookies, etc (the current coupon items) to the alchemy table, so we can use them up!
Would be complicated, but some kind of API, perhaps loaded via another scripted prim (cant edit or load scripts into our pets) that allows people to edit the animations of our pets, for several uses, including attachments!
Something a bit more direct of a Kraftie av. Something made from all parts, with a appropriate av crusher, all parts worn on arms, legs, etc... People would go crazy for it, Krafties could dance with this set up :D Lots easier to do... Kinda. Attachments a possibility? Just orb your pet, and wear the purchased (that is my sales pitch, its cash for the devs!) Kraftie avatar to match!
I have seen the torches around the Main Sim, and think it would be a cool idea for 3rd Parties to have an API that would allow them to create similar items perfect for some of the large Krafites areas.
Like the torches, people would click the scripted object, and be able to get a menu of available spells to use from thier pet
Nothing straight up, that would be exploitable. Maybe a random scroll chance, equal to a chance for a wild to drop a scroll to a winner in a battle. Not EVERY time, but a chance!
This is where they fall VERY short. They dont do enough damage, EVER to make them viable for high level battles. They don't do enough damage. If the effects of their attacks/spells were added somehow to hit point levels, would make a lot of sense. Something like the stat damage of a mind critters normal attacks, or 1/2 the amount healed by affection. Since they are SO VERY LIMITED in phys attacks, they become useless ...more »
A way to allow several temples to battle in a more than 2 temple fight... Would be fun to have a dozen people, in a last critter standing match :D
I've seen a few vague ideas on this, thought I would give more detail.... First, and hopefully most happy idea, make alchemy level based. Have experience level added or multiplied to the item for each level gained, ie a cherry at level 3 would give 6 or 9 instead of just 3.
